    Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)

    What is ART?

ART is a one-on-one form of psychotherapy that is rooted in existing evidence-based therapies; however, it is shown to achieve more rapid benefits (typically within one to five sessions). This approach helps decrease the effects of trauma and other psychological stressors.

    What Does it Work For?

ART has been proven effective in treating:

    • Trauma
    • Anxiety
    • Depression
    • Panic Attacks
    • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
    • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
    • Pain Management
    • Grief
    • Relationship Issues
    • Job-Related Stress
    • Performance Anxiety

    How Does it Work?

ART works to change the way distressing memories and images are stored in the brain. ART achieves this through the use of rapid eye movement and voluntary memory/image replacement. These techniques help decrease or eliminate strong physical or emotional reactions an individual may have in response to a specific memory. Once this is accomplished, clients can move past stuck points and toward healing.
