    VA Nexus Letters & DBQs

We know that navigating the VA disability benefits process can be challenging and cumbersome. At Tampa Counseling and Wellness, we are extremely passionate about taking care of our veterans and are dedicated to ensuring that you receive the disability benefits that you deserve. If you are already receiving compensation for a service-connected disability, we can pursue a claim to increase your rating percentage if your disability has worsened.

We can also help you get a secondary mental health disability benefit if you are already service-connected for a physical condition (i.e., tinnitus, migraines, back issues, etc.) This is especially true if you are no longer able to work as a result of your service-connected disability. Our team can assist you in obtaining the maximum benefits possible. It doesn’t matter where you live, we can help. We can provide this service in-person or via a secure Zoom virtual call.

    Our process is as follows:

    1. First, you will have a 15-minute consultation call with our head psychologist and Marine Corps Veteran.

    2. We will collect and review your military service records and VA documentation

    3. We will then conduct a clinical interview/evaluation to assess the severity of your symptoms and condition.

    4. Next, our doctor will complete your DBQ and/or Nexus Letter in order to get your disability service-connected.

    5. Lastly, we will provide continued support around your claims process.

You can trust that we have a proven track record of providing what the VA requires to rule in your favor. Our team is made up of veterans who understand the inner workings of the VA disability claims process so you know you are in good hands.
